Cookie Policy

VE Ai, Inc.

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies ve.ai uses, what each one does, and how to turn off the ones that are optional. It covers the ve.ai website and the Ve web app.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It lets the site recognise your browser on the next request, which is how you stay signed in between page loads. Some cookies are set by us; some are set by third parties whose code we run.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These make signing in work. Without them the product cannot keep you authenticated, and they cannot be turned off from within the product.

usertoken Your session token. Identifies you to Ve after sign-in so you are not asked for credentials on every request.

csrfToken Protects against cross-site request forgery. It lets us verify a request came from our own pages rather than a hostile one.

accessTokenExpiry Records when your session token stops being valid, so the app can refresh it before it expires rather than failing mid-action.

workspaceMode Records which tier your workspace is on (stable, beta, early access or suspended) so the app serves the right surface.

3. Functional cookies

referralCode If you arrive through a referral link, this remembers which one, so the referral is still attributed when you sign up later.

4. Turning cookies off

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in.

5. Changes and contact
